Helping Families During Military Deployment

Being a part of a military family can be a challenge. This bilingual DVD kit is designed to help military families with children ages 3-5 cope with feelings, challenges, and concerns experienced during various phases of deployment: pre-deployment, deployment, and homecoming. The kit includes a DVD featuring the beloved Muppets from Sesame Street, and a parent/caregiver magazine and poster. Created through a partnership with Sesame Workshop and Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., with additional support from the New York State Office of Mental Health (NYSOMH) and the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC).

Individuals requesting single copies may order online through Military OneSource, or they may call 1-800-730-3802. Military organizations requesting bulk orders may order by phone or e-mail at MOSEmailAConsultant@ceridian.com. In your e-mail, please include the following information: your full name, the shipping address where you'd like the DVDs sent, and the Branch of the military you are associated with.
