Carrier Lincoln leaves on 7-month tour
The aircraft carrier deployed Thursday from Everett, WA where they are home ported and came on down to sunny San Diego to pick up their air wing and another 1,500 crew members. They are headed toward the Persian Gulf to support the global war on terrorism in Iraq and Afghanistan. The 3,600 crew members are expected to be gone for the standard six to seven month deployment.
~~~Good Luck and God Bless to all the crew and their families that are left behind.
~~~ Please stay safe!

We are up and running again!
Its good to be back :-) Missed writing my little blogs. The trusty old PC is now set up in the main living space of our place. Its actually kinda nice to be back on the ol' PC. Keys are a little clunky and its nice to be back on Windows XP and Mozilla. {The laptop had Vista}
